Free Table Number Templates~Swirly Flowers

I love the versatility of table numbers there are so many options. That is why table numbers are a great way to reinforce the theme of your wedding. It is the small details that make a wedding unique. However, stationary can be expensive. That is why I created these table numbers as a free download. I say save money wherever you can! Here are the numbers from 1-20. They are in 4×6 format so, they should easily print on your computer. You can also copy and paste the numbers into Microsoft Word and print from there. Enjoy! Also, check out my other table number designs: Swirly Table Numbers, Oval Flower Table Numbers, and Orange Pop Table Numbers.

Upside-Down Beauty

upside down cups

Got a lot of mismatched stemware? Prefect! Then you can have a cheap and beautiful table arrangement for your next bridal shower or  luncheon. If you don’t have the stemware, borrow pieces from other girls in the bridal party or hit up the local thrift store. Because, with just a few flips of the glass, designer Annie Selke—owner of home furnishings company Pine Cone Hill (pineconehill.com)—created a modern candle-and-flower arrangement that I absolutely love. To achieve this look simply place your goblets upside down on a table, tuck large blooms underneath and top with colorful votives. It may only take a few seconds to pull together, but the elegant impact will last all night.

bread

This DIY project is courtesy of Project Wedding. A special thanks for this wonderful idea. I have to say that this beautiful favor idea is one that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!  I think I love it so much because this is a favor I would WANT to receive as a guest. It has all of the elements of a great favor. It has sentiment and it is useful. It helps that it is yummy too! Hey, a girl gets hungry after dancing! HeHeHe…

bread steps

Step 1
Using the instructions on the package, download label templates and in a program like Adobe Illustrator or Microsoft Paint design some labels. Look for fun and free downloadable fonts at Dafont.com.

Fill in names to customize and print them onto your label paper. (2).

Step 2
Lay out the food trays (1) and line them with tissue paper (7). Cut the patterned tissue paper into a rectangle shape just larger than the size of the tray. It looks cute hanging off the edge a bit.

Step 3
After loaves have been baked and cooled, wrap each mini loaf of bread with wax or parchment paper (5). Tie it up with a bit of Baker’s Twine (9) and apply bread label.

Step 4
After jam has been spooned into the mini jars (3). Tie a sweet ribbon around the neck of the bottle and apply the jam label.

Save the Date Stickers

save the date stickers

Stationary takes up a big chunk of any wedding budget. This has some brides opting out of sending Save-the-Dates. However, if you are on a budget and cannot bear to loose Save-the-Dates here is a great option for you. Simply create Save-the-Date Stickers. Most stickers that you buy at Staples or your local office supply store come with Microsoft Word templates that you can customize yourself. Simply, customize your stickers with your name and dates. Send about three to each guest in a cute envelope and you have a one-of-a-kind Save-the-Date. These are great because your friends and family simply take the sticker and place them on their calendars as a friendly reminder.  Cute, unique, and functional. I LOVE it!

DIY Garland

garland

I have to say that I am not a huge fan of garland. I think you have to be careful because it can be overdone really easily. That is why I was so surprised when I fell in love with this garland idea from Once Wed. I think this would make a unique escort card display or the birds could be omitted or changed to a totally different design. I love the versatility of this project!

steps garland

What You’ll Need:

One Bunch “Million Star” Gypsophilia (AKA Baby’s Breath) Generally, a bunch is 10 – 12 stems, with multiple laterals on each stem)

One Spool Fabric Coated Wire

Decorative Paper (3 or so coordinating sheets)

String

A Sheet of Card Stock

Floral Snips

Scissors

Small Hole Punch

Pencil

Computer and Printer

Resources: Gypsophelia is a very common flower and available through any floral wholesale house, flower shop, or grocery store florist.  There are many on-line resources as well.    Fabric coated wire is available in the floral section of your craft store.

Before you get started on the garland,  unwrap your bunch of Gypsophelia, trim the stems and place in warm water.    Allow the flowers to drink for a couple of hours before proceeding.

1.  Take your floral clippers, and trim all of the flower tufts off the end of the sprays, leaving just a little stem.  (see figure 1)

2.  Cut a 7 foot length of fabric coated wire.    Twist the end of the wire to make a little loop at the end.

3.  Take a tuft of Baby’s Breath, and lay it on your support wire, just past the loop.   Pick up your wire spool, and wrap the wire around the flower stem and support wire.   (see figure 2)

4.  Add another tuft, this time to the back side of the wire, and wrap again.

5.  Keep adding the flower tufts, alternating front and back, and work your way down the wire. (see figure 3)

6.  When you reach the end of the wire, cut the spool away  and wrap the wire around the garland end several times to secure.  Make a loop on the end with your support wire.  Trim your flower stems to make the end of the garland tidy.  (see figure 4)

To keep your garland fresh, coil it up, mist it lightly with water, and place it inside a plastic garbage bag.  Put it in your refrigerator, or in the coolest spot available.   It should stay fresh for 24-48 hours depending where you keep it.

7.  Print out the bird template(see below) on a sheet of  card stock.   Cut out the birds, and trace them onto your decorative paper. ( I used 10 pairs for a six foot garland)

8.   Cut all of your birds out, and punch a small hole in the middle of each bird’s back.  (see figure 5)

9.  Cut a length of string about 14 inches long, and tie a bird to each end. (see figure 6)

10.  Hang your garland from the wire loop ends and hang your birds over the garland, spacing them evenly apart. (see figure 7)

What it Cost:  (to make one six foot garland)

1 bunch of Baby’s  Breath = $8.50 (from a wholesale florist)

3 Sheets of Paper = $1.80

Spool of Fabric Coated Wire = $2

String = $1.50
