Do you have many single friends that will be fighting over your bouquet? Then here is a great option for you! Instead of one big bouquet, throw a few smaller ones at the same time. On all of the smaller bouquets, write fortunes for each of the recipients. Some examples would be “You will marry the boy next door,” “You will marry your true love,” and “You will marry a millionaire”, and other fun fortunes. This is a fun alternative, and will keep the girls from throwing elbows!<\/p>\n

\nFortune Bouquets How-To<\/strong><\/em>
\n1. Combine several varieties of flowers (Martha uses roses, calla lilies, and ranunculuses). Separate flowers into small bouquets.<\/p>\n

2. Trim the stems evenly, and wrap stems of each bunch with floral tape. Cover the stems with seam binding, securing with a bow; leave ends trailing.<\/p>\n

3. On strips of fine paper, handwrite fortunes, such as “You will marry the boy next door,” “You will marry your true love,” and “You will marry a millionaire.” You can also print out fortunes from your computer. Cut the end of each fortune strip in an inverted V. Use a straight pin to affix each fortune to its bouquet.
