Country Wedding

I was browsing the Martha Stewart Weddings site and I can across this beautiful Tennessee wedding. At first I was looking at the details for ideas for an inspiration board but I had a whole page full of ideas by the time I was done. That’s when I decided that this wedding was too beautiful, it had to be shown in it’s entirety. I loved everything from the guest book quilt to the candy apples! I hope you enjoy! Ornaments Made from Your Bouquet

After the wedding, I was looking for a unique and fun way to preserve my wedding flowers. I did not really want to preserve the whole bouquet because I have no where to put it! Since my wedding took place in December I decided to go with an engraved Christmas ornament. What they do is they take one of the roses and one of the stephanotis from my bouquet. Then they freeze dry them and mount them in a Christmas ornament. I also got a little engraved disk on the ornament that says our names and the wedding date. I will post pictures when I get it, but I am super excited to see the finished project! However, it takes like two months to get it back!!!! Can I wait that long? I dunno… Well, to tie you over ’til I get the real pictures here is the sample picture from the site.

My ornament will have only the two blooms instead of the potpourri and there will be no ribbon inside. If you want to see more options check out the Freeze Frame site. I will keep you posted on the quality.

Carnation Pooch by Soiree Floral

Todays brides and grooms are looking for ways to include man’s best friend in their wedding ceremony. If this is something you would love to do but do not have a pet friendly reception cite then check this out. I was searching the archives of Style me Pretty, when I found this super cute wedding decoration. Apparently Soiree Floral in Nantucket, designed this little doggy special for a bride to surprise her groom. This is a floral arrangement meant to resemble the couples dog, since the pampered pooch could not attend.

Fall Colors

Having a fall wedding doesn’t have to incorporate a rustic theme complete with pumpkins and haystacks. A simple use of the fall color pallet opens the doors to an elegant and beautiful wedding. The colors of fall are bold and vibrant, which is the perfect match for a luxurious and romantic wedding feel. I know I continually talk about paying attention to the details of your wedding but it is super important! I think this is especially true for this inspiration board. The fall hues are displayed in every aspect of the wedding right down to the soup and the dessert. Everything goes together and everything flows. I think my absolute favorite thing is the chocolate wedding menus! They serve double duty as a menu and the favor. They also cut down on the paper used in the wedding and make a yummy treat. No one is going to throw this menu away!

Autumn

Bold colors and fall leaves are the inspiration for this beautiful wedding inspiration board. Imagine… beautiful luminaries lining the edge of the dock, while the the glow reflects beautifully on your ceremony. You can toss beautiful autumn leaves in lieu of the traditional bird seed. Escort cards attached to barrels of hay add a rustic touch with a great seasonal feel.
